Bamboo Trenches = a weekend warrior project

Well Josh thought a perfect project to tackle in 90 degree weather with a 39 week pregnant wife would be to transplant a few potted bamboo plants into a permanent front yard location. Logical right? That's what I said.

Josh's mom bought us 10 small bamboo starts from the Bamboo Gardens when we moved into our house 3 years ago. The have been on our back patio on rolling casters

we started Friday night when it was a little cooler

No good weekend warrior project is complete without a tennis ball fetching Pug (see bottom left corner)

Exhausted and getting eaten alive by mosquitoes and ready to call it quits Friday night.

Got started up again Saturday morning with renewed energy.... and some good ole fashioned synthetic caffeinated energy.

Started the morning out about 22" deep

1st bamboo plant successfully planted

After a quick trip to Home Depot the project is finished off with a nice layer of bark mulch
