THE BIG 30!

This 4th of July was Josh's 30th birthday! Yes, that's right he is an old man now ;) Since the 4th landed on a weekend this year we took full advantage and celebrated all weekend. Friday we spent the day shopping and found Josh some shorts, a pair of Crocs (which he has been wanting for quite sometime now), new guitar picks and a hard case. That night his mom came over for a big kid slumber party and we watched our favorite movie The Italian Job and had cake and ice cream.

Here's his amazing cake- not just any cake- a Beaverton Bakery cake. Possibly overkill to have an entire sheet cake just for us, so we shared it with our church home group.

Josh blowing out the candles... anyone notice anything goofy? Well, I had to improvise by using 22 regular candles + the number 8 candle to equal 30! I know, I am such a dork.

Saturday we went to the Saturday Market and Josh was jonesin' for a snow cone... lime and strawberry, yum, gulp, ahhh!

Then we went to the Chinese gardens. This is Josh's handy dandy camera work. He's pretty good, don't ya think?

We ended Saturday with our 3 year running tradition of walking our neighborhood and watching all the fireworks, we even got a glimpse of the Cook Park show. We had a great time together.
